Manuscripts should be submitted along with two passport-size color photographs of each author to:-

Manuscripts submitted for publication must be original, not previously published and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere in part or whole.

Manuscripts should be submitted in English in original with 2 complete sets of copies including all figures printed double-spaced, on one side of the paper only with at least one inch margin on all sides.
All pages should be numbered sequentially.
The author(s) name(s) is/ are to be included only on the original copy.
The author(s) is/are expected to retain a copy of the submitted manuscript for reference.
The complete manuscript should also be submitted on a CD-ROM in MS-Word which should be identical to the hard copy.
Title page:
Should include the title of the article, full name(s) of the author(s), academic degrees, current professional and academic affiliation. The corresponding author's complete mailing address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address should be provided.
Abstract/ Key words:- An abstract, not exceeding 200 words should state the purpose of the study, procedure, main results and conclusion. About 3 to 5 key words may be listed.
Text:
Text should be divided preferably into four main headings; Introduction, Material & Methods, Results and Discussions.
Only approved abbreviations are to be used.
All references should be cited using superscripted numbers in the text in the order of their appearance, and not in alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript.
Please refer the following sample references:-
For journal article: Lauer G, Schilli W. Collected implant cavity borings used as peri-implant osseous augmentation material. Int J Oral Maxillofac Implants. 1994;9:437-443.

Please avoid the use of abstracts as references. Unpublished data or personal communications should not be included in the references but may be cited in parentheses in the text with a date.
Author(s) should verify all references and they will be solely responsible for the accuracy of the references.

Illustrations / Photographs:
All illustrations / photographs should be numbered in their order of appearance in the text. On the back of each illustration / photograph in the upper left corner, write the author(s) name, title of article and figure number and figure part (A, B, C. ..).
All the illustrations should be sharp, glossy, color or black & white,
usually 5"x7"but not more than 8" x10".
Photographic prints of radiographs should be submitted and not the originals. Electronic photographs and scanned images must have a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
Person(s) in the photograph(s) should not be identifiable unless written consent from the person concerned accompanies the manuscript.
Legends for photographs should be submitted in a proper sequence on a separate page, after the references.
Tables:
Each table should be self-explanatory, numbered consecutively and
should appear on a separate page. Title and footnotes should appear along with the table. Do not include tables in the body of the manuscript.
Letters to the Editor:
Readers are encouraged to write letters to the Editor concerning implant dentistry. Selected letters will be published in the Journal.
Books for review:
Books and monographs required to be reviewed should be sent to the Editor and will become the property of the JISOI.
Reprints:
No reprints will be provided to the authors. Authors should contact the Editor regarding reprint requests. However, reprint costs will be borne by the authors.
Copyright:
Copyright must be explicitly transferred from the author to the ISOI. Once accepted, the complete manuscript becomes the sole property of the ISOI. Certificate to this effect signed by all the authors (refer copyright form) is mandatory at the time of submission of the manuscript.
The Editorial Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any submissions. The committee will not be responsible for undelivered issues due to circumstances beyond their control.
All communications should be addressed to the Editor. Receipt of the manuscript will be acknowledged by the Editorial office. However, acknowledgement does not imply acceptance for publication.

Identifying information should not be published in written descriptions, photographs, sonograms, CT scans, etc., and pedigrees unless the information is essential for scientific purposes and the patient (or parent or guardian, wherever applicable) gives informed consent for publication. Authors should remove patients' names from figures unless they have obtained informed consent from the patients. The journal abides by ICMJE guidelines:
1) Authors, not the journals nor the publisher, need to obtain the patient consent form before the publication and have the form properly archived. The consent forms are not to be uploaded with the cover letter or sent through email to editorial or publisher offices.
2) If the manuscript contains patient images that preclude anonymity, or a description that has obvious indication to the identity of the patient, a statement about obtaining informed patient consent should be indicated in the manuscript.
